This hand cut, wood marquetry scene is of a sailplane near Colorado Springs, Colorado. On most days, the sailplanes of the USAF Academy soaring program can be seen flying above Pease and Stanley Canyons.

Handmade in the USA!  The woods used in these scenes are: Figured White Ash, Butternut, English Brown Oak, English Sycamore, Curly Maple, Bloodwood, Bubinga, Wenge, Quilted Moabi, Lacewood and Curly Maple. The frame is your choice of either 1" or 2" wide, "Java" stained solid red oak with mitered and doweled joints. The piece is backed with durable black felt and a full description of the woods used in the scene. It is ready to securely hang with "D" rings and hanging wire. This is an open edition production piece. Grains may vary slightly from original to original. Keep out of sunlight to preserve colors.
