Marquetry kits designed for the casual woodworker and their scroll saw.  One of a collection of classic American mountain marquetry scenes by Lynne Buss.  Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods are located to the west of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

        Included in this kit are:

·         Cover sheet with image of the finished marquetry scene

·         Premium quality, colorful wood veneers of Purpleheart, Sycamore, Curly Maple, Fiddleback Makore, Wenge, Buttonwood, Bloodwood and Marbled Walnut.

·         Line drawing of the design

·         12” x 15” Cardboard pads (2)

·         11” x 14” Hardboard Backing board

·         5 page, detailed instructions of how to build the saw pad, cut and assemble the scene,

Glue, clamp and finish your marquetry scene.

 

Other items you may need are: Masking tapes, glue stick, waxed paper, soft shop brush, a clamping system (2 versions outlined in the instructions), 1/16” rubber sheeting, glue, box cutter type knife, dull chisel, sandpapers, finishes and a frame.  

These kits are adapted from my original scenes.  They set themselves apart from other marquetry kits you may have seen by the very colorful selection of beautiful exotic and domestic wood species.
