This hand cut, wood marquetry scene is of Pikes Peak above Garden of the Gods rock formations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Named for explorer Zebulon Pike, this majestic mountain graces the Colorado Springs skyline.
Handmade in the USA! The woods used in this scene are: Purpleheart, Sycamore, Curly Maple, Makore, Wenge, Buttonwood, Bloodwood and Walnut Swirl. The stars are silver discs. The border is buttonwood and sycamore. The frame is your choice of either 1 " or 2" wide, "Java" stained solid red oak with mitered and doweled joints. The piece is backed with durable black felt and a full description of the woods used in the scene. It is ready to securely hang with "D" rings and hanging wire. This is an open edition production piece. Grains may vary slightly from original to original. Keep out of sunlight to preserve colors.
