This hand cut, wood marquetry landscape is of Mount Elbert, Colorado at night. At 14,440 feet in elevation, Mount Elbert is the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains. It can be seen in the Sawatch Range near Leadville, Colorado.
Handmade in the USA! The woods used in this scene are: Purpleheart, English Sycamore, Bubinga, Jarrah, Rosewood, Pale Buttonwood and Macassar Ebony. Stars are Silver. The frame is 2 inch wide, “Java” stained solid Red Oak with mitered and doweled joints. The piece is backed with durable black felt and a full description of the woods used in the scene. It is ready to securely hang with "D" rings and hanging wire. This is an open edition production piece. Grains may vary slightly from original to original. Keep out of sunlight to preserve colors.
