Cougar on the Hunt

This hand cut, wood marquetry scene is of a Cougar on the Hunt near Long's Peak, Colorado.  This mountain predator is hunting near Long's Peak, Colorado.  In the night sky you can see the North Star and the constellations of Ursa Minor (the Little Dipper), Cassiopeia and partially Ursa Major.

Handmade in the USA!  The woods used in these scenes are: Purpleheart, English Sycamore, Wenge, Curly Maple, Bubinga, Bloodwood, Macassar Ebony and Butternut. The frame is your choice of either 1" or 2" wide, "Java" stained solid red oak with mitered and doweled joints. The piece is backed with durable black felt and a full description of the woods used in the scene. It is ready to securely hang with "D" rings and hanging wire. This is an open edition production piece. Grains may vary slightly from original to original. Keep out of sunlight to preserve colors.
