Cannon Beach Panorama

This hand cut, wood marquetry landscape is of Cannon Beach, Oregon.  Cannon Beach is recognizable by its well-known landmark, Haystack Rock, located to the southwest of downtown Cannon Beach, Oregon. This igneous rock is often accessible at low tide, especially in the summertime.  Near Haystack Rock are the Needles, two tall rocks rising straight out of the water.

Handmade in the USA!  The woods use in this scene are: Figured White Ash, English Sycamore, Ebony, Wenge, Figured Walnut, Eucalyptus Burl, Bloodwood, Bubinga, Ebony, Figured Red Oak, Lacewood, Figured Cherry and English Sycamore. The frame is 2 inch wide, “Java” stained solid Red Oak with mitered and doweled joints. The piece is backed with durable black felt and a full description of the woods used in the scene. It is ready to securely hang with "D" rings and hanging wire. This is an open edition production piece. Grains may vary slightly from original to original. Keep out of sunlight to preserve colors.
