This hand cut, wooden marquetry scene is of Breckenridge, Colorado. Breckenridge was founded in 1859 during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. Today it is a skiing destination in winter. In Summer, it attracts hikers, fly fishermen and boaters to nearby Lake Dillon.
Handmade in the USA! The woods used in these scenes are: Purpleheart, Fiddleback Sycamore, Curly Maple, Bloodwood, Lacewood and Macassar Ebony. The border is Walnut Burl and English Sycamore. The frame is your choice of 1" or 2" wide, "Java" stained solid red oak with mitered and doweled joints. The piece is backed with durable black felt and a full description of the woods used in the scene. It is ready to securely hang with "D" rings and hanging wire. This is an open edition production piece. Grains may vary slightly from original to original.
